Nathan Law, a dissident from Hong Kong, never thought he would be thrown into the limelight fighting for his homeland's freedom. He is sharing his story of the first time he realized he had to fight for democracy in CNN Opinion's "Voices of Freedom" series. Law is a Renew Democracy Initiative Freedom Fellow.
